About us... Dakota Woodlands, a non-profit human service organization located in Eagan Minnesota, is the only short term housing facility for homeless women and children in Dakota County. Families are able to stay as long as necessary in order to move from having no homes to homes of their own. During this time, residents are provided with educational services and support, enabling them to address their issues related to homelessness. Annually, 89% of the residents move to safe, affordable housing. Celebrating 27 years of successful service, the mission of Dakota Woodlands is to empower homeless women to create stable futures for their families.
